Svcs. to make oil-heated city bldgs. use B20; [2] Mayor s Office of Sustainability to change NYC housing auth. and schools in 5 highest asthma health districts to B20 use; [3] Mayor s Office of Film, Theater &amp; Broadcasting to convert location trailers to B20.<b><o:p></o:p></b></li></ul> <ul style="margin-top: 0in;" type="disc"><li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">Regional work with: [1] Cornell PWT (Program Work team) on grant to develop on-farm BD production prototype; [2]  Farm Aid concert staff to secure BD to power Sept. 9<sup>th</sup> concert (The Bronx); [3] Onondaga Extension staff on BD in urban and rural settings.<b><o:p></o:p></b></li></ul> <br> <Br><br><b><u>Biography</u></b><Br><br><b>Biographical Statement</b><Br> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-right: -9pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial;">John Nettleton is engaged as a Senior Extension Associate with Cornell <br>University Cooperative Extension/ New York City, where hh heads up the Program <br>Incubation Unit. His work currently centers on: [1] biofuel development in NYC and <br>Statewide and [2] NY MarketMaker, a web-based platform that links agricultural producers<br>with actors throughout the value-added food chain. He written and presented on sustainable <br>development issues at conferences and meetings throughout the U.S. and in Germany, <br>Canada and Russia. <br></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-right: -9pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 0.5in;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial;">In 1990, he designed and taught,  Climate Change: Urban and Policy Impacts <br>Offered as an undergraduate seminar at Manhattan College, it was the first college course on <br>global warming in New York. Prior to joining Cornell in 1988, John directed homeless <br>housing programs for Westchester County DSS and previously worked as a private <br>advocacy planning consultant throughout the Northeast U.S. Under Gov. Brendan Byrne, he was directly involved in the planning that led to the landmark NJ Pinelands Plan.
