• Continue to work with Professor Joseph Laquatra and Professor Lorraine Maxwll on the Healthy Living and Learning Environments project:
• Assisting Professor Lorraine Maxwell with research project related to protecting children from indoor pollutants in daycare facilities.
•  Residential Construction Waste Management. Explores strategies that homebuilders and entrepreneurs can use to market waste wood generated during the construction process.

A major emphasis of my current outreach work focuses on energy efficiency issues in residential buildings. Working closely with Extension Professor Joseph Laquatra, we are starting the sixth year of the Consumer Education Program for Residential Energy Efficiency. This program, a joint project of the Department of Design and Environmental Analysis, 32 Cornell Cooperative Extension Associations, and New York State Research and Development Authority, educates New Yorkers in ways to make their homes more energy efficient and reduce home energy-related costs.

I also work closely with Professor Joseph Laquatra and Professor Lorraine Maxwell to develop and implement educational programs based on the Healthy Living and Learning Environments research project.

In addition to work in these two specific areas I spend significant amounts of time on outreach efforts directed at Extension Associations, Proffesional groups and citizens throughout New York State on a variety of issues related to the built environment.
