Title: Rockefeller New Media Foundation Proposal
Authors: Zurkow, Marina
Abstract: "Little NO" is an interactive, animated fairy tale based in the Buddhist cosmology of the Wheel of Life. Set in a 1960's New York City apartment against a backdrop of endless cocktail parties, "Little NO" traces multiple pathways through the story of a young girl caught up on the Wheel of Life, who struggles in her conflicts with her martini-handed parents. Like a psychological "Alice in Wonderland" story, she grows
and shrinks in age and desire, projecting into her grown-up future, retreating into her child-like past.
