| Abstract: | In-Touch Science is a hands-on science program developed by the Cornell Cooperative Extension for children in grades 3-5 (aged 8-11). The program helps children
-communicate what they are observing and learning
-understand the science connection between two fields of study
-recognize those science concepts in daily experience.
The ten activities in In Touch Science: Plants & Engineering let children observe how once science concept relates to both plant science and engineering. This unit encourages youngster to be more curious about their everyday encounters with plants and with aspects of engineering |
