Materials may be viewed onsite at the Goldsen Archive, Division of Rare and Manuscript Collections, Kroch Library, Cornell University. As a chicano artist who grew up in rural Iowa, I am interested in hybridity, transformation, and unusual narratives. I often work with ephemeral materials and reference elements of metamorphosis, invisibility, mutation, and disappearance. In exploring these conceptual and aesthetic concerns I have worked intensively with sound in the form of radio broadcasts, gallery installations, and public works.
