As the Latino son of an artist mother and a scientist father, I have always sought to bring together the two hemispheres of creativity and analysis that were seeded in my spirit. I have been painting for fifteen years, thrived as a digital artist, and taught in the digital art education field of the Bay Area. I also worked for four years in the high tech industry of Silicon Valley as an engineer for at Silicon Graphics, Inc., a leader in advanced visualization systems. In both of these endeavors, I have sought to articulate the truth that I see and feel around me. With these divergent views, the artwork that emerges from my creativity has always reflected the coalescing of views that a universe which can be explained by scientific analysis is nonetheless ruled and inhabited by a rich panoply of spirits, gods, and our own ancestors. A mysterious and ancient realm of gods control the physical and spiritual world, and yet we as humans are continuously amazed by our own discovery.
