Abstract

This brochure is designed to help women firefighters learn how they may be exposed to certain chemicals that may be risk factors for breast cancer. Exposure to some of these chemicals may occur during firefighting activities. Recommended protection includes wearing Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCABA) during all phases of firefighting.
