Wastebasket

The Wastebasket is the newsletter for the Cornell track and field and cross country program at Cornell and has been a regular publication since the early part of the 20th century. Traditionally written and compiled by members of the team through the Spiked Shoe Society, the Wastebasket has been a means for generations of Cornell track athletes to stay in touch with alumni and friends of the program. Published at least three times a year, the Wastebasket includes updates on the teams’ successes during the year, thoughts from the coaches, features on current team members and updates on alumni.
