Abstract: An eight-month-old female spayed Beagle presented with a non-painful sublingual mass. A sublingual sialocele (ranula) was diagnosed based on prior aspiration, physical exam findings and history. Left mandibular and sublingual sialoadenectomy was performed and she recovered well from surgery. Her prognosis is excellent.
