Description
Even though the northeast doesn’t get as many total heat stress days as our southern neighbors, substantial periods of hot, humid, spells do occur and they can rival conditions found anywhere else in the country. The effects of heat stress on dairy cattle are enormous and cost the northeastern dairy industry significant lost revenues each year.
