Professor Emeritus Sam Leonard modestly recounts some of his illustrious career starting in the 1920s. Most of the seminar was devoted to early research on the various endocrine glands and their secretions by pioneering endocrinologists. Sam knew many of these pioneers and he provides personal glimpses into their lives and research. It is remarkable how much these brilliant researchers contributed to the field, given the limited resources and technology available to them, and the accuracy with which Professor Leonard recounts their activities. Excerpts from an amateur video recording of his talk are included.en_US
