dc.description.abstract | Students learn how to analyze rhetoric, craft an op-ed and switch on creative modes in considering the subjects of food technology, risk and society. Namely, this sequence of events will prepare students to write and think creatively, while helping them develop analytical rigor in assessing rhetoric and their own creative works (op-eds and futuristic fiction). This sequence involves an excursion to the Johnson Museum, encouraging the students to explore outside the classroom and specifically to engage in the visual resources abundant on Cornell campus. | en_US |
